This sentence would be better, but actually we speak more like this sentence below :
我和我爸媽討論了很多次關於結婚的事, the former is correct,normally we say 我把結婚的事跟爸媽討論了好幾次
but sometimes forgot mentioned "whom" 【我把結婚的事討論了好幾次，跟爸媽】 also happened.
