獨立：獨自站立——一個單獨的個體
自主：當自己的主人——決定自己的一切,獨立 is about character of a person. Ex:他個性很獨立
自主 is about ability (of making decisions on his/her own). Ex:他能夠自主做決定,先「獨立」(事實)而後「自主」(狀態)
獨立(independent)：相對於「依賴他人/他國/商業公司」
