  • You're why I love Fall

The cold Autumn air was nipping at my nose as I stood in one of the uniform rows of the orchard. I smiled as I fondly remembered why this was my favorite place in the whole world. Even though the air was frigid and it was supposed to snow soon, I felt warm. Fond memories flooding my mind. I plucked an apple from a tree branch before sitting on the blanket I brought and tossing the apple over in my hands. The red skin on the apple made me smile, she had red hair. Bright, beautiful, red hair. I laid down and held the apple close, closing my eyes. I’ll forever love fall and it’s all thanks to yo...6Uoone door

    Rotting House

I’ve decided that only one thing in life is true: parents don’t know anything about kids and kids really shouldn’t try to understand parents. In all my fifteen years of living, I’ve realized that it isn’t a wise choice to pry inwww.onedoor.ccto adult affairs; rather, when you hear your dad say things like “we can’t afford the funeral that my sister wanted” or when you hear your mom bite back “well she’s dead, so it shouldn’t matter anyway”, you should probably stick your nose back where it was before you tried to overhear an important conversation. The Light

By the time I stepped outside, the leaves were on fire. I walked toward the nearest tree and flung the bottle onto the concrete at its base. The glass shattered and the bottle’s contents burst into flames, whiffs of sweet cinnamon overtaking the smoke for only a moment.A tendril of foul air slithered down my throat and I convulsed, overtaken by a coughing fit as I turned back toward the house. I slammed the door behind me, barricading myself from the growing heat outside. With the windows boarded up, the only light in the room came from the glow of the old television set in the corner. A small ...6Uoone door
