    Mark slapped the tickets on the receptionist’s counter. “Has the plane left?” He panted.  “Nope,” She happily said, “You’re just in time, we’re about to board your zone now.” Mark took a deep sigh. As he walked onto the plane, he shuffled his way down the narrow lane. He was in the back, right next to the jet engine that roared to life when they were up in the sky. Mark sighed again.“Well, that’s what I get for bargain hunting,” he fussed as he scanned over his vacation pamphlet. The hard-working store manager had earned a week-long vacation from his bosses.     TW: suicidal ideation Darkness. Cold. Empty. She just wanted to stay down here. There was no reason to be above, below was always better. Below, below, below. This is what life felt like in general. A dark, cold, flowing abyss with no reason, hope, or meaning. Empty like her chest, devoid of love or hate.     Trixie the Tricky Pixie

    Trixie adored her new abode. The tiny house suited her perfectly if it weren’t for all the pink. Trixie hated pink. It was an atrocious colour. Her black hair was cropped short and naturally spiky, giving view of her pointed ears, both pierced three times with broken pine needles. Her violet eyes were a sharp contrast to her familiar outfits of varying greens and browns, made with leaves. Her wings were like those of dragonflies; intricate patterns of transparent membranes which shimmered in the light. It was quite a change from the pixie grove she grew up in.
