The bellowing of the creature outside my window wakes me from the pale faces of my dreams. My eyes slide open slowly to a lightening sky, the water around my head swirling silently. The bellow sounds louder now, dragging me to the window across my clothes littered floor. My curtains drift away from my fingertips as I swirl them through the water.  There's a blue whale swimming between the apartment buildings, her powerful tail arching up and down smoothly and elegantly. Following her closely is a single calf, his movements sporadic and hyper as he swims around and around his mother's body. I ...SvXone door

In the dim gray before dawn, I and mine are kept awake and restless by the bustle and hurry of workmen all around us. They shout to each other, grunting and groaning as thewww.onedoor.ccy strain against ropes like horses. The skeleton of the great tent is rising at their hands. Small stars of lantern lights bob. Dogs run about barking, some stopping to bark directly at me and mine. I snarl and charge the bars, but the creatures know I am confined, and stand yapping just beyond my reach. Light is spreading in the sky. The sun will soon rise. As darkness disperses, the men work faster. They must drape the ske...SvXone door
