  • The 6 W's of Doing Laundry

It’s midnight, and I really need to find my favorite shirt. I fumble my way through all the potential places in my living quarters where my shirt could hide. The drawers full of once neatly-folded clothes? Nope. The pile of clothes thrown on top of my dresser after being worn once? Not there either. The mess of clean clothes on the couch that I hadn’t gotten to folding yet? Sadly no. The stack of seemingly unrelated clothes in my hanging clothes organizer I bought from IKEA? Unsurprisingly no. Oh, I almost forgot - the assortment of clothes that had been living in the dryer for a week now? Nic...ZTRone door

    Man of My Dreams

He’s not the man of my dreams. Far from it, he’s not really like any person I could have ever conjured up. He seemed so quiet when we met, but I know now that is not the case. He can speak for hours on politics, on history, on the current state of the world. He doesn’t judge me when I cry over earthquakes, famines or children left without their families. Time to go!” his Mama called. Jabari got up from the radio, Yared, his best friend, following. “Great game, huh?” Yared asked. Jabari nodded. “Did you hear that goal? Basically ripped a hole in the net!” Jabari exclaimed. “Yeah, that was awesome!” Yared agre...ZTRone door

    Sometimes

Sometimes it’s easy to see what’s about to happen next. You put on your running shoes and as you step outside you notice the rain clouds in the sky. You have a choice now. Better yet: you have an excuse. Tomorrow those rain clouds will be gone and that gives you the opportunity to do something else today. Something fun.But as soon as you kick off those running shoes all the other chores on that dreadful to-do list suddenly pop up in your head. You regretfully start to wash the dishes and it doesn’t take long before going out for a run seems appealing again. You throw another guilty look at you...ZTRone door
