    .....and who are you, man of yesterday, myself, as per my adventures downtown, with a notepad in tow? the writer here transposes his notepad entries live, as it were, as he is a spontaneous idiot and balladmonger of just such a sort as would pull such stunts as this, all the while calling it Art. Here are the entries, as they are, scribbled.     The locket

        Samantha did not want to go the country for the weekend. It would mean an entire three days of no cell service and no contact. She was pretty sure that Grandma didn’t even have a phone out there in what she liked to call old bat country. This was not a kind thought, she knew, but Sam didn’t care much. She just wanted three things out of life. She wanted to be famous, adored and never bored.     Legs

    The sounds of the seagulls crying out wake me every morning and the alarm of old rusted bells ringing and waves crashing on concrete shores call out to me to begin my day.
