"The current ruling is undeniably unjust; there are currently many languishing in prison for the 'crime' of trying to save a human life. The expectation of inhumane apathy must end, starting with the liberation of those wrongfully condemned!". The speaker was a short man who appeared to be balding. Matt recognised him but couldn't put a name to him. He was older than most Change advocates, many of whom were young and, in Matt's opinion, too immature to think through the consequences thoroughly. Thirst

Thirst. The last dog still alive in the area was observing Karl carefully sipping from his glass of water sat under the porch of his porch. The dog was looking around constantly with wide eyes, searching for a new source of water. The last remaining drops evaporated under Karl’s tongue when he suddenly noticed the dog looking at an approaching figure and barking wildly. Bullets ricocheted, breaking beakers, vials, and other glassware. I winced, verified my body was not Swiss cheese with a glance, then gawked at my assailant. She was young, maybe in her twenties which meant she was born into the apocalypse. She wore a black tank top with black polymer pants and a clear visor with a digital display over her eyes. I heard the gun’s hammer striking the empty chamber with a cli...KU4one door
