    June sat in the doctor's office, waiting patiently. She was thumbing through a travel magazine while she waited for her turn. Thinking of faraway places and dreaming of a vacation that she knew she would not be able to take for some time. A smile slowly crept across her face as she dreamed of different vacations she had never been on. She had just lost her job as a recruiter, due to company downsizing. She had an ample nest egg built up for savings, so she wasn't too worried about finding immediate work.     How did I come to be here? Well, let me prepare some tea and food while I tell you my story. You get settled by the fire; you must be frozen. It was some years ago, I am not sure how many — it could be five or fifteen; time seems not to move here. Like you, I climbed that rocky path on the north side. Did they tell you down below not to take it? Yes, they told me, too. But my sense of adventure — and my pride, it must be said — got the better of me.     Something is just not right

    Waking up was the strangest thing. Everything felt just like every other morning but I sure had a lwww.onedoor.ccot of very bad and realistic dreams. So I open my eyes and I don't recognize the lighting above me. What the hell did I do last night? I can only remember the dreams. I'll have to ask somebody in hopes they can help me clear the fog.
