  • What I can do

I noticed in town where I lived, that most people whom I met barely looked at me in the eye. I anticipated to becoming an adult because I wanted desperately to be on my own, to be heard and to have opinions. At first my youth days were disappointing because I did not have cheerleader looks or the luck of the phantom. I was personable, yes, I had my niche of friends whom I so enjoyed on occasions when I felt like I could belong but those moments were short livedwww.onedoor.cc because I would, in the midst of a very enjoyable encounter with friends, get a sense that I had smiled enough or my quota for feeling...AUaone door

    Arthurian Bureaucracy

It was not a nice lake. The water stewed murkily. It was hemmed in by concrete. Domesticated and canalised into an ugly circle in a dingy park. The trees and sprawling roots which once covered its banks were long gone, the thick green grass now weeds and mud. Empty cans and sat where shining pebbles had. It was a sunken lake in a sunken park. The only ways to it were through dingy subways, with dirty beige tiles and a thousand unwelcome scents. It turned into a racking, chesty hack which she tried to stifle with the sleeve of her dress. The rich embroidery on the material was quickly dampened.“Now then," she croaked, placing both her hands onto the table in...AUaone door

When the Sun Rises in the West

My name is Azizz Abdul Hakeem. It’s the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah in the Hijri year 1525 (January 10th 2102 AD). The 1st Muharram 1526 is just 3 weeks away. The smoke has finally cleared from the sky, and the sun is shining brightly this morning for the first time in 30 months. The brightness hurts my eyes after being so long without sunlight so I pull down the blinds to filter it. I learned in my youth that this had already happened in history long ago, in the Hijri year -89 to -88 (536 AD), before the Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) as a result of 2 enormous and simultaneous volcanic eruptions. However...AUaone door
