A Dream SequenceI lay on the grass, watching the clouds move across the sky above me. I wanted to reach out and touch its silver-blue edges. I tried to move my arms, but they were tied to the platform on which I lay. I had not realized I was bound to the platform until a minute ago. I lay still as the clouds shifted and made way for a scarlet haze; a stifling heat took hold of the air. I looked to my right and thousands of eyes stared back at me. I saw my parents somewhere in the audience. I saw someone else whose presence I could not fathom in the midst of what was happ...hThone door

    Brody

The howling wind rattled the old shutters causing them to bang against the side of the house. It was a terrible day for chores but they couldn’t put it off for any longer.. Luckily, the recent rain would make quick work of what they needed to do.The man took sip out of the chipped mug, half the design worn off from use, and gazed out of the kitchen window, looking but not seeing the vast emptiness of the dying landscape before him. Drifting ash hung in the eerie stillness. And although it was mid-morning, the sun seemed like a distant, cold, shying orb, ashamed to lend its light to the tragedy. The hamlet of Bracklenock was in ruin.  Walkin...hThone door

    H - APP - Y

In front of a non-descript store-front on a busy Manhattan street, Helen Gil saw something that caught her eye. ‘Let us make you H – APP – Y,’ it read. So obscure was this suggestion that Helen leaned in and immediately wondered if the person who wrote it actually wanted anyone to see it considering how they’d situated the silver writing on the right-hand corner of a rather large glass pane. Helen had only stopped after a burly man inadvertently struck her while she was sipping from her coffee cup, and yet here she waswww.onedoor.cc peering into an office with a desk, two chairs, a filing cabinet, and a pos...hThone door
