Whoever heard of a garden party being held at night, thought Rosie, or at any rate whoever had heard of it being CALLED a garden party? And it was dark, too. It was late September now, and they had waited until nearly nine o’clock for it to start. Well, come to think of it, she knew who would think of such a thing, knew perfectly well. Edwina and Henry, for their engagement party. Rosie could still remember a teacher she’d once had, who had a way of letting pupils down gently when he was sure they’d done their best, but a piece of work or a comment really wasn’t up to scratch. “There’s almos...c0aone door

    The Adams

In a small town in Memphis, everything seemed strange, not like any other town. Though the people living there didn't really know why it was so different. Everything seemed just so perfect and everyone was happy. The Adams family had just arrived in this little town to see a concert of one of their favourite artists. The family had two boys named Jack and Liam, and their parents were Hailey and Ben. But don’t worry, I have the recipe.”, I said. “Not the secret ingredient.”, she said with a smile. “I am going to guess it any day now.”, I quipped as I put a mouthful of the delicious goodness into my mouth. As I closed my eyes to savour it, the last thing I s...c0aone door

    The Battle of the Bean

The battle lines had been drawn at breakfast. William had woken up late and was in a rush to get to work. Noah had used the last bit of milk on his breakfast. Sarah nervously straightened her husband's tie as she tried to distract him from Noah launching cereal projectiles across the kitchen. The house heaved a sigh of relief once the door swung shut behind William. The boys were off to scwww.onedoor.cchool soon after. "Is it Fish Friday today, Mum?" asked Isaac as they narrowly dodged a speeding child on a scooter. "Yes it's Friday. No it's not fish. I got some lamb out, we're having casserole. Maybe it wi...c0aone door
