Somehow, I thought this would be fun. Away frwww.onedoor.ccom all of the hustle and bustle, a place to clear my thoughts. I’m not sure why in the world I rented this remote cabin. No phone service, no Internet, no electricity. Ha. I’m nuts. I wasn’t worried about starting a fire or cooking on a propane stove. I’ve done those things a million times. I wanted to see the pristine snow; see the animal tracks of those that ventured by. I know Jake will keep me safe and he’ll be good company. Later that day, he saw his first life quotes sticker at a convenience store and decided it was the perfect size to disguise the damage. That one purchase cha...wG2one door

    Bad Coffee and Grief

The dust falling in spirals onto the counter was just another thing rarely touched in our cemetery of a house. From the window, it was easy to see the backyard and the forest that ran adjacent to the property. The woods were slowly reclaiming the yard with every passing year and we did nothing to stop it. The irony was not lost on me as I poured myself a cup of stale coffee.Cardboard boxes were occupying most of...wG2one door
