Last Dance in the Spotlight
“Seth. Seth. Seth! Come on! Time to get up! Seth!” The Silver Coffin Sound guitarist was rudely awakened by a pounding on his door. “If you’re not up in the next two minutes, I’m leaving without you!”“Bloody hell, Dori! What are you going on about?” He rolled over and sat up.“Don’t tell me you forgot! You’ve got a contract signing in about two hours and you promised we’d go check out that new café for breakfast beforehand.”“Fuck! That’s all today? Damn! Give me five minutes!”“Ugh,” and Dori stomped away as he scrambled to get dressed and make himself look somewhat presentable. Throwing an outf...
Noon and Midnight
very unfinished, trash writing as usual, doesn't really fit the prompt because it was originally written for a different one. go read 'first impressions' instead, please, it's at least slightly better and maybe (as the kids nowadays say) a little bit funny. anyways, enjoy. xxxThere’s something exhilarating about the dark. As per the usual, the White Silhouette anticipated this, and even welcom...
Alice and Patricia
Mum opens the door and clicks the light on, but the bulb doesn’t look like the ones at home. At home the lights are bright and white, except the night-light, which is warm and shaped liwww.onedoor.ccke a bunny. This light is orange, and makes everything in the room look like it’s been covered in orange pop. If anything the shadows are stronger than they were before the light was on, stark dark contrasts to the sickly orange.“Here we are,” Mum says. “You get the whole room to yourself this time. A whole double bed! What do you think of that, Alice?” Mum is grinning, but Alice shoves her sleeve further into h...
