Lord Mundy’s Quest
Lord Mundy's Quest“Oh my heavens! What have I done?”“Please don’t tell me that’s who I think it is…”“Oh no, oh no, oh no!”“For Pete’s sake, Percival, calm down. I mean, yes, you’ve sent an arrow through his skull, so I imagine we won’t be hearing Lord Mundy's voice for a while. But we’re still talking, aren’t we? It can’t be that bad.”“So wait, can they still see our words? Will they know who’s who or where we are?”“I don’t see why not. What does a narrator do, anyway? Nothing, if you ask me. I say we change the name of this whole blasted story. ‘Lord Mundy’s Quest’ never sat well with me.”“I'...
The unbearable winter calling
January 15th, of 20221Sitting here, in my wooden rocking chair, I can hear a calling, deep inside of this old soul. An unbearable calling, to be exact. One that you simply can’t resist to not ignore. But as the year drew to a close, Sarge was left with a nagging feeling of regret, as there still remained four poles he had not yet claimed as his own.The poles themselve...
Walking to Live
Karana and I were walking along the snow and ice searching for home. We had gone out looking for food but a huge snow storm happened and we could see nothing. We are wearing heavy coats but my face is not protected and numb. Karana has started building us a house to hide and stay warm in. I don't understand how he can see in this blazing snow but I try to help. We make our house in the ground with a 3foot deep hole and an igloo for the top. We share our rations and meltwww.onedoor.cc snow for water to drink. It is night now, the only thing I am scared of is the polar bears that come at night. When I wake up...
