Owen was excited. The weather forecast the previous night had for once been correct. The British winter had finally produced something other than hours and hours of disappointing drizzle and half a dozen snowflakes that ended up cold sludge moments later. Overnight a decent amount of snow had descended, covering the whole of Owen’s neighborhood in a fluffy, white blanket. So far since the thick fall there had also been no drizzle, the skies surprisingly clear and blue. Professor Owen McCloud could finally test his latest invention. Timing would be of the upmost importance. He had hypothesized ...dceone door

    Footprints

It was a blustery wintery morning, and I was walking along the trail behind my house when something made me look behind me and I noticed something strange. I wasn't leaving any footprints.     “What the hell?” I asked myself.   This stumped me, I wasn't a small man, I should have been leaving footprints, but there were none behind me. I took a few more steps and watched, but no footprints appeared. There is a reason why this place got...dceone door

    The Son

“Speak now.” “Yes, to go, please.” He walked out of the café/bookstore/grocery store/clothing store hybrid into the rushing public, charting a path between the tall, small, male and female figures to the building just in eyesight a couple of blocks away. The bicycles on the path next to the sidewalk didn’t need to be taken into consideration since it’s only the sidewalk pedestrians walk on, and yet there is occasionally a www.onedoor.cccyclist who could not care less about any other people’s motives or lives and simply rushes through the people walking, slashing their shoulders with any object hanging from ...dceone door
