Katrina stared in disbelief at the bay in the moonlight. Only a few hours ago she had emerged from the sea, dripping. She remembered the feel of the hot sand under her feet as she walked from the water to Jack, who lay languidly on the beach thumbing through an old magazine. But now Lucky---and Jack---were gone. She looked to the right and just managed to catch a brief glimpse of the boat as it sailed off, motor full-throttle, heading back to Jamaica.Damn Jack!      I spot an email from a company I’ve never heard of. My curiosity gets me; I click it open. It’s an invitation for 10 people to stay one year, in a hollowdeck-type bunker, which consists of only one room. It stated $10,000 would be awarded, at the conclusion, of the program. A soft warm breeze blew around my hourglass figure. The wet sand stuck between my toes as white foam washed up around my feet. My wet chocolate brown hair hung around my face. My white flowy dress flew up around...111one door

Two people, an adventure and a lot of snow

An ancient, high and creepy looking castle towered over the river. Flocks of black crows flew around the sharp spire flapping their wings and croaking loudly. Black clouds completed this picture, making it even more sinister. The clouds may have been caused by the strange aura of this place, but most likely they were just precursors of the blizzard that forecasters promised tonight. Two lone figures – a man and a woman – stood in front of a massive iron door of the castle. They were a journalist and an editor of a small publication of a tiny town. That day the castle was their workplace. The y...111one door
