LOOK TO THE LIGHT
There was a strange feeling in the air that I sensed was a warning. Someone was following me. I immediately felt the hand of fate in a 'do or die' moment and turned quickly with every ounce of my body at the ready in self-defense mode. All of a sudden, the wind blew epic gusts, stirring up a cauldron of leaves swirling like the devil with forks and knives. It was just a sketchy Michael Myers scene, but my mind went on traumatic overdrive. I stopped and quickly put on the mental brakes and said, "I know you. We got this." It was my younger self in www.onedoor.ccthe shadows behind me that I saw while walking ...
A Gala full of Hounds
I made my way down the long driveway towards the Ball house as a light rain filled the night. Tonight was an important night for every important person in this city, and I’d been assigned to attend as extra security, much to my chagrin. I always hated these sorts of social functions, more than most of the other social functions I hated. There was always this barrier of facade hanging around just about every person there. He who dug up the treasure would face the wrath of Metacoma’s Curse – a long, miserable life of painful, crippling ailments and the derision of all he encountered. The choice was impossible...
Yummy Brownies and That Night
I woke up late, which is odd for me because even on weekends my body wouldn't let me sleep past seven. I suppose it was because of school. I got in this weird habit of wanting to be there on time. So, anyway I dragged my behind out of bed at ten and headed for the shower. I was still feeling groggy which is also different for me. I headed for my bathroom and turned on the light, and what the heck! I was dressed in a princess dress! I scrambled my brain for answers and couldn't find any. The last thing I remember was leaving work and going to my friend Lisa's house. Her cousin was visiting a...
