“Have you arrived?” Valerie asked her. Heather looked outside her car window and stared into the ominous office building and sighed. She had to admit that she was a little nervous. The building was dark and she was alone. What was she doing there so late at night? The snowstorm was getting worse. I just hope I don’t get stuck here, Heather thought as she got ready to depart from the car and run into the building. “I’m here. Where is this file?” Heather asked. “Should be on my desk. The Junkyard Home

Trigger warning: mental illnessIt had been twenty-four years since she’d last seen it, but the place looked exactly the same. Junk filled from the floor all the way to the ceiling. It was a horrific sight. There was never any room to move around and people were never invited over. A dark cold fear began creeping in, but befo...62xone door

My eyes filled with tears as my throat burned, the stinging like swallowing a rose covered in thorns. This wasn't the first time I have woken up like this, and it wouldn't be the last.I coughed harshly, knowing no one would hear, my feet hit the floor and I stumbled out of my bed, through the doorway, and down the stairs. The day had come, and soon, we would all go up in flames.I knew what the flames meant. Today was the day that we e...62xone door
