It’s Saturday morning again. My only time for peace. Since starting this awful job months ago, I couldn’t paint as much as I wanted to. Stressful work and overtime took every ounce of my energy during the week. The thought of holding a brush had become exhausting. I couldn’t paint for weeks, before I managed to force myself to grab my art supplies, went to the park, and painted on one Saturday morning. Now, it has become a routine. You have no idea how relieving it is when the weekdays are over. I can take my time waking up, open my windows, and enjoy breathing the fresh air of this lovely city...o58one door

The fateful words had just rolled off her tongue, it was too late to take them back. “I quit” is a pretty hard thing to erase once it has been said. Sarah had worked for the worst boss in the world for what seemed like forever. She was condescending, aggravating, and most of all, impossible to talk to.  Sarah had mwww.onedoor.ccany complaints about having to work for Betty, but she didn’t want to lose her job. It had taken too long to find a placement.Oh, how she longed to tell that sorry excuse for a boss exactly what she thought of her. Yards of unending styles and colors “popped” – metaphorically – as the door opened, along with automated display lights and the hiss of humidity-contro...o58one door

    Employee of the Month

He couldn’t blame others for pawing at his award, for it truly was glorious: Employee of the Month, East-Northeast Sales Division 03, Town of Franklin, March 2020. Fitting recognition for his instrumental role in securing a partnership with the Mexicans. That the Mexican partners went under right after could hardly be blamed on him. He took a step back, and it struck him how his plaque was a lonely beacon of hope, a single glimmer of fame on a wall, otherwise, of shame. There was his name on March 2020, and pretty much...o58one door
