A boy was standing in the middle of the street. No one noticed him. No one ever did. He was like a snowflake landing to add itself to a never-ending pile. A pile that was large enough for no one to even wonder what the names of the snowflakes were. But the boy was so much more than just a snowflake. It liked to add in the occasional pot roast or succulent grilled chicken, but on the whole it preferred the colorful, leafy kind of food. This dragon was named Sam, and his mountain was Eten...lsqone door

    The Color of the Sky

She counted to five, then reached in and grabbed her Monday outfit. Prairie had one outfit for each day of the week, and an eighth, Emergency Outfit in case Something Went Wrong. It had been five months, two weeks, and three days since the last time her Emergency Outfit had been needed. She dressed, carefully watching the clock. Seven minutes and forty seconds - that was the time allocated to dressing. Too slow, and her entire schedule...lsqone door
