Where Cherries Grow (Ukrainian anecdote)In the days of the childhood, I was often left to spend a month or two of summer time in the house of my grandparents. They lived in a sleepy Ukrainian town on the cherry covered shore of the river that cuts the country on two on its grand way to the sea. Those long evenings under the cherries smelled candies, the glowing bugs flew overhead and among looking them up, illuminated by the glow faces of the kids there was mine and of my two brothers too. Next to our house was a park that everyone called “sadok”, the Ukrainian for a garden, - a verdant place ...hQCone door

    The Dragon

Exhaustion. That's what it is. I’m exhausted but I don’t look it. There's no dark circles haunting my eyes, my movements aren’t slower and my speech is clear. My smile is bright as I weave through the crowd, greeting people and shaking hands. Snatching a drink off a passing waiter's tray, I turn and survey the crowd. They would just see...hQCone door

    I Found It

11:11、 It popped up on my phone screen as I looked down to a text tone in hopes it was him. Of course it wasn't him. But it is 11:11, I have to make a wish. That was an easy one: what I wanted...or rather, who I wanted. Is that allowed with wishes? Or maybe I should ask for a sign to my wish. 11:11 was a sign, but how could it be a sign for what I really wanted if I hadn't asked for a sign yet. And so I took a deep breath and thought to myself: Oh universe. If he is going to text me, please, please give me a clear and definite sign of anotwww.onedoor.ccher 11:11 within the next hour. Thank you in advance. ...hQCone door
