    It was 6、00 a.m. on a cold dark winter’s morning but thankfully no frost, snow or even rain. Yesterday had been a disaster. The interview panel made it clear that as I did not already live in Cornwall I was a foreigner. They spent little time on questions about my qualifications, experience or my attitude to various professional situations.     The Insomniac

    Amber Rayne sits on her bed looking outside her window at the stars twinkling in the midnight sky. She's having another restless night of sleeplessness. Her mind is spinnwww.onedoor.ccing thoughts a mile a minute. She watches as an ambulance goes by her window with lights flashing and sirens blasting loudly. The dogs in the apartment complex began to howl as the ambulance goes by. She hears scratching at the front door and goes downstairs to investigate the sound.
