This couldn’t be happening to me! Not a former lifeguard who had spent her teen years at the pool, slathered in baby oil. Granted, that was in Canada, where the summer sun may not have been as intense. Still, having a reaction to the sun here just didn’t seem feasible. Sandy looked down at her arms and legs. There we small, angry red blisters forming on the tops of both legs where her cotton shorts met her skin. Both forearms showed similar blisters. Reaching her left hand to her right forearm, Sandy gently moved the tips of her fingers over the raised skin. Her fingers were cool to the touch,...Rndone door

    Chompus

“AHHHHHHHH, I am burning to death,” shrieked Karen outside of her mother’s car.Karen has been one to be a little overdramatic and to scare the neighbors, with her theatrical outbursts.“Karen, why do you think you are allergic to the sun, even if you were, you wouldn’t burn to death?" protested her mother.  “But, but…” Karen went on, “this doctor on the street told me that what I had sounded like I was allergic to the sun.”“You do realize that the 'doctor on the street' that you’re referring to was arrested a day ago for being high out of his mind,” her mother stated“Ya, but he still sounded li...Rndone door

Or What if the power is off meaning I can'...Rndone door

    Nadya

I’ve always invited Nadya to the lake house. It's not even something we ever discussed. Just me squeezing her hand, and her showing up with a duffle and a sleeping bag.  We shared the bed of course. But she still brought her sleeping bag. Every time, as if in preparation for some kind of natural disaster.  By the end of the summer it would end up kicked under a dresser, covered in soda and crumbs. It was the last day of school. The kind of day where the air is sticky and ants seem to crawl throughout your hair.  I was in bio, the lab table blurring as Mr. Higgins delivered his www.onedoor.cchalfhearted spe...Rndone door
