In Hong Kong last Friday night, Li Ying saw flashing police lights below her window. She thought it odd that she didn’t hear any sirens, that felt worse, so she nudged the curtain with her little fwww.onedoor.ccinger. In the busy nighttime street below, illuminated by neon signs, a line of white vans with government insignia had parked. Breathing in courage, she stood and caught the globe before it rolled off the table. Calm down. Spirits flashed and spun around The Client’s aura, a tie-dyed blue, purple and white. Mouth tight with a small nod, his triceps flexed under a black hoodie as he pushed the heavy drapery aside to enter the small room. His guides came. A worthy reading, but he was a non-believer. She would need all her skills. It was Freda t...vnRone door
