The air was shivering. Practically could cut through bone. Joseph made his way down the street to catch the 10www.onedoor.cc5 bus to Langston. He shivered, but not from the cold but from his impending meeting with…her. As he sat in the back of the bus, he contemplated intentionally missing his stop and just keep going. “I worked a double shift-yeah that’s right-I was too tired and couldn’t make it.” a thought he seriously considered, but he knew if he missed this meeting, there may never be another. She's Out!!

As far as the neighbours knew she could be dead. Ten years she had been in that room and no one had ever questioned it. Why had no one ever wondered was she under the shed dead. Was she really that unmissed by society that no one cared at all?I know she thought I will creep out at night when everyone is asleep and go wild in the street, rob the bakery, swing my knickers in the air and leave my mark on the landscape.Tonight was the night, it was a school night so the kids were in bed and her husband who now slept downstairs (so she wouldn’t be disturbed) had nodded off not long after them. She tw...esCone door

    Clean Up After A Party

Donald wakes. He notices that the flood of morning sunlight is not on the bed. It indicates that it is pass noon. With sleepy eyes he checks the time on the nightstand clock. It is almost two oh clock. He moves to sit on the side of the bed and that is when it strikes his head, the alcohol consumed during the party. He sits still to let the awful rattling dissipate from his head. “Edward,” he says. There is no answer. He looks at the side of the bed where Edward sleeps. He is not there. Donald surmises that he must be in the basement cleaning up. So, after minutes to gather himself, he slips i...esCone door
